Arcane Duels - Gen Con - First Ever Tournament Recording

Greetings Mages!

We just wanted to announce something special for this upcoming Gen Con tournament. Arcane Duels will be there but not as competitors this year. We want to bring you real footage from games at the main tournament in addition to interviews with players, spell book analysis, and commentary. The hope is that we can all become better players by watching the contenders play!

We're very excited to be given this opportunity, and we are honored to work with Arcane Wonders. Mage Wars is one of our greatest passions and we hope to record a wonderful tournament. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions please add to the thread!

I assume you're going to film these games at the same overhead camera angle as your other work? That would be great if you could.

It will involve building rigging and many test runs. Hoping for something like they do for Magic The Gathering Tournaments.

We highly doubt we will be able to stream those matches, but they will definately be added to youtube.

Laddinface, You can say anything you want as long as it's nothing negative toward our fabulous setup, the Anvil Throne Warlord, or myself... Coshade's fair game, say whatever you want about that guy.

Our setup currently includes a cat scartcher with a plastic flimsy office supply holder balancing on top and a tray on top of that. The tray is leaning off balance so the camera can hang off directly above the game board. How does the tray balance you say? Well an expensive laptop of course!
