General Discussion / Re: MW Battlegrounds What We Know So Far

The majority of board games are printed / manufactured in China. The next largest segment are produced in Germany.

Trying to not sound sarcastic here, but that doesn't address what is on the box. The majority may be in China and Germany. The box states "Proudly made in the USA".  I would like to think that made in the USA means that and not PR speak for we assemble the items we get from other countries in a box here. If the assembling part is the case, they may have lost a customer. Not because it was specifically made in China/Germany, (I own plenty of things from those countries) but because that wasn't what was on the box.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the previews.  :D

I thought Arcane Wonders is producing in the US. Maybe I am wrong.

This is what I thought. The box says made in the USA and I could of sworn I read something about them going to the place where everything was manufactured being nearby. With that being the case I fail to see how the port issue would cause a delay. Unless being made in the USA is not the case.

Same here YoJamesBo, bought all the other books before I had found this one. If this had happened to the Necromancer spell book, the weird feeling of the bubbles, it probably would have been a positive thing.

Thanks Laddinfance, sent customer support an email.

My wife and I have been play MW for a bit over a month now. We thoroughly enjoy it. I had initially purchased the Core Set along with FiF, quickly picked up CoK after that, then got lucky and found a sealed FvW on ebay. The latter arrived today and was what prompted me to join the forums.

My only complaint since I've found this game has been the double sided tokens, well those and the double sided health boards. We've learned to live with them.

But now for my question. The binders that came with FvW seem to be of a different quality that all the others. I've gotten used to how the others all swap binder pages halfway through, but in these, the binder pages are reversed. And flipping them around turns everything upside down and reversed. The outer covering is full of bubbles, not smooth like all the previous books. So were these normal manufacturing errors during this sets printing or did I just get lucky?

Still, great game, trying to hold off buying another CS while waiting for 4th ed.
