Title: Familiars, Spawnpoints, and Mana

Unlike mages, who begin the game with 10 mana in their supply, familiars/spawnpoints that channel mana enter the game with zero mana, correct?

correct, they will gain mana on the next upkeep phase after they enter play

Unless otherwise stated on the card this is correct.
