So, this week I'm spoiling the first card from Paladin vs Siren. My question to you is what type of card would you like to see first?

Creatures are almost always fun.  Come on, show me the Leviathan or Kraken!  Gerard Matranga is extremely overpowered and needs a natural counter.  ;)

What I would really really like is if you started spoiling the stat cards for Siren and Paladin both   :P and the artwork for the two. If we only get one I would have voted Siren..

I'd say conjuration, and that's because I'm hoping Paladin is trained in War at all. So anything that could also be used in War school with Warlord would be most welcomed.

I'd say Equipment, cause the stat cards are not in the poll... And also because I love equipments!
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results...

A conjuration with terrain effects or an attack spell with Frost, which I hope both will be coming with this expansion :)

Also a vote for showing the stat cards of the mages as soon as possible!

Creatures are cool and often have fun abilities and amazing art, but of all the spell types, I feel like there is a larger fraction of creatures that rarely/never see play than any other spell type, so I'd fear we might get a spoiler that sounds cool in a Timmy/Johnny way but really isn't all that good.  See previous expansion spoilers, like Talos, Sersiryx, Sardonyx, Skeelax, ... pretty much any legendary creature with unnecessary y's and/or x's in its name.  ;)

I'd go with an equipment, with the caveat that it not be an existing promo (e.g. I'd be shocked if Leviathan Scale Armor wasn't in the set, and the Spiked Buckler and Spiked Armor are likely, too, as might be Vorpal Blade, Leather Belt and others).

With this attitude we will never see spoiler of Yago, templar of Xenos :(

Mage stat would be the best!  8)
But any frost effect would do.  :)

I should also include any name with the following characters: s-l-a-k ... especially in that order.

e.g. having creatures named [mwcard=MWBG1C05]Sslak[/mwcard], [mwcard=MWBG1C06]Usslak[/mwcard] and [mwcard=MWBG1C04]Slaknir[/mwcard] in the same expansion pack.  Honorable mention to [mwcard=MWBG1C03]Skeelax[/mwcard], who scrambles those letters and adds an unnecessary x... also in the same expansion pack (!!!)

I wish I made that up.   :o

Arcane Wonders needs more folks with a knack for names.  Or just more folks.

Sadly the Mage ability cards for this set won't make a lot of sense out of context. So, everyone will need to wait for them.

Also sadly, the Freeze condition is not in this set. However, this set is going to be larger than either Forcemaster vs Warlord or Druid vs Necromancer. We've really loaded this set up with some amazingness.

...

Can't tell if this is semantic trickery, Freudian slip, or an intentional spoiler for a future expansion.

Freeze condition =/= Frost damage type - although I can certainly imagine an effect die roll on Frost attacks that might deal a Freeze condition (and hence the Defrost effect on some Flame damage cards, which might remove Freeze condition markers as Extinguish removes Burn condition markers).

In hindsight, I wish I could change my vote to Conjuration, as I'd love to see one with the Terrain subtype (as eluded to in the Domination rule book).  But I doubt it would make any difference, as the Creatures seem to be running away with this one.

Wow! No freeze, no frost ... So 2016 will not show us what's about frost. Maybe next year :).
This is going to be the most secret of all secrets of Mage Wars.
