Hello again everyone! This coming Thursday the 21st the Arcane Duels gentlemen will have another livechat with me. It'll be at 9PM Eastern / 8PM Central time on their Youtube channel! Hello everyone! Those of us with Mage Wars Mondays (Scott, Rick, and myself) would like to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. It has been a real joy to be able to ramble on about Mage Wars, and we're all pretty excited that you enjoy it! We're working through some convoluted holiday schedules right now, but we hope to have a new episode up soon.

But for now, Enjoy the holiday. We're thankful for all of our listeners, and we hope each of you has something to be thankful for as well!

General Discussion / Community Card Construction - Making a level 4 Nightmare Creature

Sorry for the delay everyone. I swear I hadn't forgotten about you. Our last poll showed that we wanted a level 4 nightmare creature. This gives us a ton of options, but the first question is do we want this creature to be Legendary or not?

Next, looking at "Nightmare Creature" there are tons of options in front of us. First there is the creature who feeds on dreams. This would be like a kick ass version of haunter from pokemon. It puts you to sleep and then feeds on you without breaking the condition. Then, there is the "Phantom Force Nightmare". This one could be like a poltergeist or some form of intangible force knight with a horrifying presence.  And I'm sure you guys have ideas for this as well. We're close. After this step I'll build some playtest cards for us to see just what we've come up with.

Hello again everyone! We've been working on developing a community card. I've started a new thread to keep things a little more organized. So far we know that it will be Dark and/or Mind (mostly have the "and/or" in case we want to make a level 1 spell) and also a creature. Remember that the mind school is a school of strange otherworldly entities (like the Psyocculouses we've seen already). Mind creatures are meant to be rare and specialized. Now I personally have a few cool ideas to put out, but first I want to see what you all come up with. Right now don't worry about mechanics, just worry about theme. What do you want this card to do? Is it a construct made of force? Is it an apprentice forcemaster? Is it a brain in a jar? (yea I'm voting for Brain in a Jar, those who've talked to me about my DND games know why).

So throw your themes out there!

So this week I was looking back at Various forum milestones. That was when I noticed that I blew right past my 2000th post. And that is a shame. So rather than wait until I hit 3K, I wanted to do something cool with the forum again!

But I'm not sure what. So I'm hoping you all have fantastic ideas to share. I'm interested in hearing them. We could totally build a new spellbook for me. I loved how that turned out last time. I still use that book. Or maybe we can come up with something else. Regardless, I want to take a moment to celebrate with all of you. Thanks for making the forums a great place.
