3 x Critical Strike
1 x Wolfs Fury

I'm a big fan of Battle Forges.  ::)

I do think you should try to put more equipment in, when you plan to have two in play.

Helmet:
You have Psi-Orb which is fine, especially if you keep the Invisible Stalker.
Headdress of Stasis is pretty good as well and a lot cheaper.
Leather Helmet (promo)

Amulet:
You got 2 Wispwillow Amulet.
Unless you got a plan for that early +3 Mana i think Moonglow Amulet is better just because it saves you 2 spellbook points.
Eye of Ball is fun, but i would wait until Grizzly is tired of playing his new Warlock.
Jeweled Scareb is very tempting, especially if you run dissipating creatures.

Cloak:
Dampering Cloak (promo) seems good.
Else i would consider Elemental Cloak or Waterfall Cloak.

Ring:
Enchanter Ring fine with all the enchantments you got.
Defense Ring i would absolute put in, and cut Force Orb and Force Sword.
Force Ring ?

Chestpiece:
Force Armor seems obvious. The Piercing -2 kind of makes me want to put in more armor.

Belt:
^^ Id change Regrowth Belt for Wychwood Ironvine.
Colossus Belt is something im considering in every book these days.

Gloves:
Gauntlet of Strength is another obvious choice. I might even bring a back-up.

Shield:
Symbiotic Orb x2 - yes :)

Boots:
Leather Boots fine.
Eagleclaw Boots however might be better.

Breeches:
Leather Chausses is fine.
Tempered Faulds nice as well, especially with Colossus Belt.

Weapon:
Im considering Shifratar - might not be as good as Galvitar, but its a lot cheaper.
I would not mind adding a "bait" wand:
Mage Wand with Seeking Dispel
Ele Wand with Swell, Firestream, Stalagmite, Jetstream, Geyser, Invisible Fist, Hurl Rock, Acid Ball, Surging Wave - something cheap you could cast every round through Minds Eye to bait him/her to come close and dissolve it.
Wand of Healing cheap and good for condition removal.

Upkeep seems to be slower online.

I don´t think its because everybody is running out to the kitchen, to get this and that every upkeep (like me)

The 3 hour time limit is a test. We will see how it goes.

We are going for speed first.
So you will have to fix disputes yourself, or get help.

Great that we have 8 people already!
Its 3 matches total, so should not become a problem.

Id love if you would announce it here, the time for when you are gonna play.

So Sharky.
Ready to rumble?

Great GSweatt :)

You are actually #6.

1. Biblo
2. Keejchen
3. Shark
4. Shoopuff

Thats group A starting now.

Group B will start in "mid-june"  whenever Jbuzzsaw79 tells us that is.

5. Jbuzzsaw79
6. GSweatt/-Starscream (OCTGN name)
7.
8.

If time permits we will have a final between group A and B.

Try to be pretty active here to arrange matches - we will need to drop inactive players to keep this moving forward. And its perfectly fine, if something happens - so you can´t play or respond to forum post.
But then just join the next group.

Time limit will be 3 hours per game, with everything gaining Finite Life after 2½ hours.
If nobody is dead at that time you each roll a d12 an add it to your remaining life to determine a winner.

Note that is not cut in stone. Its first try. Should make it easier to arrange matches, and play them.

Feel free to arrange longer matches or concede instead of rolling the yellow dice if you think you are hopelessly behind.

I hope this work out, so we can have regular mini OCTGN tourneys.

We are going with brackets of 4 for now, as it seems easier to manage and kick-off.
Then try to arrange matches between group A and B etc.

Keejchen vs Shoopuff
Shark vs Biblo

Then the final

Jbussaw enters from midjune if we can get some more players! (7 or 8)

This is the first of hopefully a steady monthly tournament.

Time limit is 3 hours as per Coshade and my suggestions.
Feel free to agree otherwise if you both have time and lust for longer games.
But i would love if we could test the time limit.

Can we maybe wait a little before starting this? I'm happy to complete but June is really busy for me.

No :)

The idea is to do this every month.
And it shouldn't matter if you have to sit out a month or two. (I'm busy next month)

We are 4 or 5 players at the moment for June, so that's a max of 3-4 matches.

We should still be able to make an 8 or 16 players tourney in June.

Just got an amazing idea for Viking-Con 2018.

Using Gen-Con scoring. 3 for a win - 1 for ties - 0 for a loss.

Play all 14 mages - whoever scores most wins :)

I would totally join an octgn tournament! Time limits seem important for doing a monthly thing.
What if there was a soft and hard time limit. Throwing numbers out, say something like after 2 and half hours everything gains Finite Life. Then at 3 hours you do a full stop and do your life suggestion. I would use the ADMW time limits for planning/between action phases as it forces the players to actually move the game instead of stalling. Just a broad suggestion. I would love for there to be more OCTGN MW tournaments!

Lets do this!
Who is up for a test run of this in June?
I want 8 players but will settle for 4.

First tourney starts tomorrow Friday Jun 1 and ends at the latest Sunday the 10.

Parrings will be dependent on when people can play - so when you sign up pls write when you can play.
If you cant play during this weekend Friday-Sunday i suggest you don't sign up for this. Just wait until next week.

I'm generally available to play MW on work days from 00-04 or 08-12 (CET) and most weekends. (for 3 hour slots at least)

You have to be pretty active here in this tread and try to set up a match here.
If somebody doesn't respond here - his opponent will get a bye and we will move on.

Next week/month there will be a new tourney anyway.
Love to see this work, so sign up and start playing more.
