So when the target with the hate token is more then one zone away and the creature with CoR is unhindered, is it then one move + action, or double move?

Alternative Play / Re: OCTGN not working
« on: January 24, 2018, 01:49:32 PM »
twitter (OCTGN) says it should be working. and it is, kind of. I can log on and see other (non mage wars) games working. However, every time i try to start a mage wars game, it says "there was a problem, please try again"

and I see no other mage wars games (play nor spectate)

thinking about signing up. However, it is full. Are there others that signed up to get the extra group of 4?

you should definitely sign up, we do have a waiting list that I think has 3 on it right now. I'd have to double check later

Done!!

Haha so many flavours and oppinions in book building. Thats why I love mage wars, everyone can have their completely personalised style with every mage.

Personally on spawnpoints:
I love the graveyard in my zombie necre
Never use the lair in my straywood
Bloodwave has the forge, baracks and even a builder (not truly a spawnpoint but still)
Warlock has the forge
And priestess has the temple

Those are my most used books currently.

My favourate mage is the straywood beastmaster from the beginning. The adremolech warlock I also like really much even thouch I almost always lose with her, they are always really great games to play, because of her mechanics. The (zombie) necro is (by far) my strongest book.

I don't really aggree on the tiers though. By fact that most people seem to dissagree on who should be what tier shows its flavour and playstyle.

To add, I had a Johkarti build once, that I stole from an arcane duels video, that was extremely difficult to play against (basicly allot of attack spells and starting to hurl boulder in round 2 and finishing it in round 5). But i stopled playing her because I dislike the playstyle myself.

I recently build a bloodwave using new academy cards and it was the first time I have beaten a wizard build from a friend and a forcemaster book that proved really difficult with my other books.

I do have to note, my list of opponent players is very, very limited.

Is gear up possible on a mage wand? Cant seem to find why not, but it seems really powerfull. Magecast states that only the mage may cast it and not other objects, but with the mage wand it is still the mage casting it right? without having to discard.
