My friend and I thought a huge improvement to the game would be to have the Damage and Mana tokens have different numbers on the front and back.
For the 1 tokens have a 2 on the back, for the 3 have a 5 on the back and for the 6 have a 10 on the back. This effectively doubles the amount of tokens without having to manufacture new ones. It would also make it easier to get the correct number to place on a card since there would be more combinations.

:) Welcome to the forums behindcurtain 3!:)
That would be a good idea! I personally use dice, my wargame d6s' or my D10s work well. But for sure, having a value on the front and back would be useful.

like darth I am also a dice user but I could see your point in multi-numbered tokens.

Dice is the best way to do it. Oh and they are actually 9's not 6's.
-
All my dice have pips not numbers. :P

We use the damage tokens for tokens that we dont have...

I, too, have recently switched to dice. If any one is interested, there are some sweet dice available from chessex.

These are 12-16mm dice that look almost scarily like the damage counter dice. And they look sweet.

And the channeling dice! Look equally as epic, and similar to the channeling tokens us mages use.

That is a really good suggestion. Wonder why they didn't do that originally.

I wonder why the tokens show 6 as a key number rather than 5. 6 can easily be confused with 9 to a casual muppet like me. Even when I KNOW it's a 6. :-[
