Yea ballad does not work on golems unfortunately. One thing u maybe forgetting but you maybe don’t care is the only creature that can carry the formation enchantments is the Minotaur and currently you have one.  Not sure how vital that is to you.

Yeah I've noticed that Farkas, heavily considering dropping the kights for butchers for just that reason. Gives the book a little more flexibility

You may want to consider a Steep Hill to give you more of a boost on your Range Attacks. Position it in the center of the Arena and you should have good coverage of the battle field.

Steep hill was in the original iteration of the book but is too mana intensive for what I'm trying to do.

I'll consider it some more but it hard to justify 8 mana for essentially only giving my WL range +1 (no other range units)....however being able to sling 8 dice for 4 mana with a hurl rock is a satisfying thought ;D
