Title: VIKING CON 2017

Viking Con is being held from October 13 - 15 in Copenhagen Denmark.

Regarding Mage Wars we are going to pump it up this year:

Saturday: Mage Wars Academy tournament. from 10+

Sunday: Open Danish Mage Wars Arena tournament from 10+

We have a classroom at the school were the con is being held. So no need to bring a sleeping bag - just come and play straight 48 hours of Mage Wars!

Extra prizes for anyone besides me that play more than 30 Arena/Domination games, and anyone with 50+ Academy games. If its not enough - we can start playing Friday evening :)

Keejchen and you look like Vikings anyway.... but do the foreign guys need to dress like a Viking too to get access?
Is there enough space at the port to leave my longboat behind?
Do i need money to buy food or can I just rob the villagers around Kopenhagen when I am hungry?

Viking Con offers free sleeping quarters and longboat parking, just bring a sleeping bag, sleeping pad and a sturdy towel. Food and candy can be bought on site, so you never have to stop gaming.

Horned helmets are not obligatory, but recommended for your safety.

We had 8 players fro our first Academy tourney.

Rune beat Alexander in the final!
Congrats to both Rune and Alexander :)  Both Forcemasters!

Kenneth started out with teaching the rule and a spellbookbuilding workshop.
After building we played a practice match then tourney matches.

Fun to see and talk to old and new people.
Quite a few went buy and i think another 8 or so sat down and tried Academy.

Its Arena tomorrow but we will mix it up with some Domination and Academy im sure!

ps Watch out for Valdemar in the near future - an 8 year old Viking!!

Just got an amazing idea for Viking-Con 2018.

Using Gen-Con scoring. 3 for a win - 1 for ties - 0 for a loss.

Play all 14 mages - whoever scores most wins :)

Viking-Con 2018 12-14 October

Mage Wars will be from Saturday 13 from 10 Am and then NON-STOP until they close the con :)
