Paladin's re-roll and Akiro's Favor VS Reverse Attack
« on: March 28, 2017, 06:26:36 PM »
Hi Mages  :)
Question: if I reveal Reverse Attack and the attacker has Akiro's Favor or it can be Paladin with challenge or creature attack Paladin, so, WHO control that re-roll traits? Can I tell the attacker to re-roll to have higher result for the attack or can he re-roll by himself to have lesser?

There is no interaction between Divine Challenge and Reverse Attack.

If reverse attack is in play:
Either the Paladin is attacking himself. Or the opponenet is attacking him self.

Divine challenge is only in effect when targets are attacking each other which they are not. (stated on Reverse Attack that steps roll dice and damage / effects is the attacking creature being both the target and the attacker.)

the reverse attack does not suddenly change the source of the attack to the controller of the reverse. as mentioned the attacker would be attacking himself. if the attacker also has akiro on himself then he could reroll the dice if he chooses. for instance, if he rolled a lot of damage he could reroll to try to get less damage.
